We're looking for a **Planner **to join Kier Regional Civil Engineering and help deliver a sustainable drainage project in Mansfield. Within this role you can enjoy 26 days annual leave, sharesave scheme, family friendly policies and even more.

**Responsibilities**

Kier has been appointed by Severn Trent, to design & build the UK’s first catchment-scale flood resilience programme. This involves the design and construction of a suite of interventions across Mansfield to improve the flood resilience of the town. The overall aim of the project is to remove 58,000 m3 of surface water run-off from the sewer network by constructing Sustainable Drainage Systems (SuDS). They work by diverting surface water away from sewers, slowing it down and helping the drains to cope

As Planner you will report to the Senior Project Manager. The successful post-holder will be responsible for providing project planning support for all aspects of the designated business stream activities from pre-tender to final account stage.
- Develop and maintain the contractors plan in accordance with the contract
- Ensuring the effective and efficient maintenance of the programme
- Communicate programme performance, time and outcomes in a timely way with stakeholders and the Project Managers
- Manage and control programme information
- Assist the Commercial Manager with the financial progress and performance reporting and management of works programme

**What do we need from you?**
- Holds the relevant qualifications (i.e. minimum of HNC/HND in relevant discipline)
- Comprehensive programme delivery experience
- Demonstrable experience in leadership, resource allocation and general management
- Experience in risk identification and assessment
- Detailed knowledge and experience of managing and maintaining a works programme
- Knowledge of full MS Office suite including Project, Project Server and SharePoint
