- The Scotch category is recruiting for a Manufacturing Excellence Lead (Man-Ex) with a particular focus on continuous improvement, driving performance, practices, and standards. The role will be primarily based in Elgin and will require travel around all Malt Distilling operations across Scotland.

About the Role
- There is significant volume growth in the Scotch category and spirit volume is in high demand. There has been no other time when there has been a greater need to drive safe, high performing, reliable distilleries, maltings and associated plant. This exciting role will business partner with operational teams to embed sustained performance by driving standards, implementing best practice and building capacities.
Through leading and facilitating continuous improvement activities you will support the delivery of breakthrough performance improvement across Malt Distilling. You will utilise the tools and guidance provided by TRACC to ensure standards and best practices are implemented & sustained. As a trained TRACC facilitator you will be asked at times to prepare and deliver training sessions relevant to the role.

To be successful in this role, you will need:

- Operational experience (preferred Distilling, Brewing or Malting experience)
- Successful experience in coaching and influencing a range of stakeholders
- Ability to interpret and analyse data sources to identify loss & waste, cost saving opportunities
- Competent in using Microsoft Office and computer literate. Experience in the use of Power BI is also preferred
- DMAIC Green or Black trained and certified or willingness to achieve
