Cabinet Maker

McCormack Joinery is looking for an experienced multi-skilled cabinet maker to join our team. The position would be full-time and the salary would be dependent on your experience. The job is mainly workshop based but you would be expected go to site to help install as well. You would need your own transport to get to the workshop.

We make bespoke furniture for residential customers, mostly in London. Although we do a variety of work, we make more kitchens than anything else. Experience with solid wood, plywood, veneering and laminates is important.

We are an established business and are expanding so this is an exciting opportunity for the right person.

**RESPONSIBILITIES**
- To work from drawings and produce your own cutting lists
- To machine, assemble, finish and install the cabinetry
- To work well with the other members of the team
- To work in a calm, efficient, tidy, and organised way
- To produce work to the highest standard

**SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE**
- At least 3 years of experience working as a cabinet maker/bench joiner
- An excellent eye for detail
- Experience with woodworking machinery and portable power tools is essential
- Experience installing is essential
- Experience, in particular, with making bespoke kitchens
- Familiarity with the typical hardware used for kitchens
- Your own handtools
- Driving licence and car a must
