This is a fantastic opportunity for an individual with a passion for books and a talent for managing a school library to inspire young minds.
Working primarily on your own, you will be responsible for managing the school library and supporting pupils with their reading before school, during break and lunchtime, and after school. You will be confident in managing the library space and the pupils who use it, ensuring a safe and welcoming environment for all.
In addition, you will be asked to assist with listening to pupils read, using your expertise to encourage and support their reading development.
To be considered for this role, you must have previous experience in a similar role, with a strong understanding of how a school library should function and the ability to manage and inspire pupils.
