Hearcare Assistant

We are looking for an individual to become an integral member of our Hearcare clinical and retail team by delivering excellent customer service and supporting the HAD in the following tasks:

- Preliminary case history
- Otoscopy
- Audiometry (but not masking)
- Impression taking
- First fit
- Basic repairs and fine tuning
- Rehabilitation and auditory training
- Wax removal via microsuction

**Non-clinical areas in which the HCA can be of assistance**:
As well as seeing customers, there are a number of ways in which the HCA can support the department. They include:

- Maintenance of hearing instruments, including changing domes, tubes, windguards, waxguards, cleaning of aids, changing battery drawers.
- Ordering of stock items: batteries, hearing aid accessories and cleaning supplies
- Ensuring point-of-sale is current and well displayed, ensuring test room is always clean, neat and tidy and ready for the customers
- Liaise with regional manager and HAD to assist in training other staff
- Promote Hearcare on the shop floor
- Diary & Appointment management
- Raising the profile of hearing promotions
- Promote Hearcare Awareness within stores

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Location**:
Travel between locations in Gloucestershire/Bristol area, which will be discussed at the interview.
