**Position: English Teacher**
**Pay: £110 - £160per day**
**Location: Chesterfield**
**Start From: ASAP**
**Key responsibilities and tasks**:

- Provide highly effective teaching and learning opportunities as an English teacher that take into account each child’s specific needs.
- Experience teaching KS3 and KS4 English
- Ability to teach some RE
- Normal teaching hours
- Will be on duty rotas (lunch/break/before and after school)
- Planning and Marking required
- Until February half term with the possibility of extending until the end of academic year.
- Create, maintain and enhance effective working relationships with staff.
- Maintain an effective system of record keeping, reporting and communication with parents and students to ensure that the aims relating to each student’s progress are achieved.
- Provide leadership that secures the delivery of high standards and attainment for all students and be responsible for the organization, management and control of your classes.
- To promote and encourage a learning environment that allows students to reach their full potential
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
- A creative and inspiring personality
- Strong collaborative skills and flexibility in teaching methods
- Enthusiasm and motivation as an English Teacher to instil confidence in our students
- An updated CV with an enhanced DBS
- Great communication and interpersonal skills
