**What You Will Be Doing?**
- Responsibility for the development of the Warehousing team, including employee engagement and succession planning
- Key objective setting with hands on support and guidance and training plans documented, detailed training plans
- Consistently deliver KPI/ Service Levels with real time correction of variances whilst upholding quality, compliance and productivity standards
- Manage the relationships with Phoenix 2 Retails suppliers, and 3PL’s
- Develop, implement and uphold SOP’s for the warehousing operation ensuring robust systems & processes
- Maintain regular contact with client base & attend key review meetings whilst acting as an escalated point of contact for dispute where needed
- Meet key suppliers periodically to maintain ongoing efficient operations & control of cost
- Generate accurate and meaningful monthly board report for department
- Chair and lead effective and progressive weekly meetings with Warehousing Manager
- Budgetary responsibility for P&L, currently across our Warehouse spaces, 3PLs and across a wide range of customers
- Manage and successfully deliver key strategic projects within division to improve financial and service performance

- Strong experience across a range of Warehousing environments, including ecommerce
- Traditional warehousing - full pallet, container receipt, replenishment, despatch
- Picking operations via range of methods
- Efficient operations - warehouse mapping, put away strategy
- Parcel carrier management
- Warehousing expertise with demonstrable ability to manage operations efficiently
- Ability to utilise WMS (Warehouse Management Systems) to deliver service and efficiency benefits
- Experience of managing and delivering change
- Commercial acumen with the ability to understand granular detail at an operational and financial level, and to use this to drive bigger picture financial improvements on a consistent basis
- Good level of intellect, with ability to work at different levels with
- Strong IT skills and analytical ability
- Relentlessly focused upon metrics and continuous improvement
