Wedding Assistant Temporary

Assistants to the wedding coordinators, join our wedding team this season

The Buttery & Glasshouse is a spectacular wedding venue at The Bull Hotel. To help us deliver the most beautiful weddings, we are looking for enthusiastic, hands-on, reliable, punctual, multi-tasking and hard working wedding assistants.

You will be working alongside the wedding coordinators, supervising a team of summer staff. Setting up and delivering a wow factor wedding is hard work but a very rewarding one: knowing that couples and their guests are having a great time is so satisfying

**To set up an deliver a beautiful wedding you will**:

- **Work the day before the wedding** to set up the venue for the wedding. This involves move tables and chairs, stock the bar, move cutlery/plates/glasses, fold napkins, fit table cloths and decoration, make sure the garden and all areas are clean and tidy including the garden, toilets, tables, cutlery, bedrooms, etc
- **During the wedding day itself**, you will check in guests into their rooms, liaise with suppliers, work behind the bar, serve drinks, clean and polish glasses, help housekeepers to check if bedrooms are tidy for the guests, waiter the tables during the wedding breakfast, perform closing down duties including tidying and moving furniture

**Requirements**:

- Flexible working pattern. Evenings, weekends and bank holiday essential
- Can-do attitude, enthusiasm, dynamism, customer service is also essential
- This is a physically demanding role, you will easily reach 10K steps during your shift and will be lifting and carrying boxes and furniture
- Public transport is very limited in Wrotham
- 18+ years
- Some proven work experience

Temporary position from April/May to September/October 2023 with potential to become permanent. Hourly wage based on age and experience.

**About The Bull Hotel**

The Bull Hotel is a country inn in Wrotham Village, Kent, near Sevenaoks and Maidstone. It is a wedding venue with its Buttery & Glasshouse newly launched and awarded **Wow Factor Wedding Venue 2023**. The Bull also has 11 ensuite bedrooms and a very popular restaurant serving cooked from scratch food, exciting wine list and artisan craft beers.

**Job Types**: Part-time, Permanent, Temporary contract, Freelance
Contract length: 7 months
Part-time hours: 25 per week

**Salary**: £8.00-£10.50 per hour
