Job Summary:
Juniper Training are recruiting on behalf of a fantastic nursery who are are seeking a passionate and dedicated Early Years Educator Apprentice to join our team. As an Early Years Educator, you will play a vital role in providing a nurturing and stimulating environment for young children to learn and grow. You will be responsible for planning and implementing age-appropriate activities, observing and assessing children's development, and fostering positive relationships with both children and their families.

**Responsibilities**:

- Plan and deliver engaging and developmentally appropriate activities for children aged 0-5 years
- Create a safe and inclusive learning environment that promotes exploration, creativity, and independence
- Observe and assess children's development, documenting their progress and identifying areas for further support or intervention
- Collaborate with parents/guardians to ensure open communication and involvement in their child's learning journey
- Maintain accurate records of attendance, incidents, and any relevant information regarding the children in your care
- Support children's emotional well-being by providing a caring and supportive environment
- Promote positive behaviour management strategies that encourage self-regulation and social skills development
- Work collaboratively with other team members to ensure the smooth running of the early years setting

Qualifications:

- Minimum of a high school diploma or equivalent; relevant early childhood education certification preferred
- Proven experience working with young children in an early years setting
- Sound knowledge of child development theories, practices, and current research
- Strong understanding of early years curriculum frameworks and their implementation
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Ability to build positive relationships with children, families, and colleagues
- Patience, empathy, and a genuine passion for working with young children
- Ability to adapt to changing situations and work effectively as part of a team
