Qc Inspector-electronics

Nexus Resource Solutions are working with a leading electronics manufacturing company in the Dalgety Bay area. Due to continued success, they require a QC Inspector to work in their busy production facility.

The client has ambitious growth plans over the next 5yrs. Part of the areas they’re looking to bolster is quality. This is an excellent opportunity for someone from an Electronics background with Inspection experience to come in progress within the Quality department. This role will allow people to be exposed to other areas of Quality and gain more experience and take on more responsibilities.

**MAIN DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES**
- Inspection of PCBA and HLA (High Level Assembly).
- Awareness of production priorities.
- Ensure all faults are reported to the Production Supervisor for appropriate action and recorded within the clients EMS system.
- Ensure any recurring faults found during any single shift are highlighted to the Quality Manager.
- Ensure that any quality issues that cannot be resolved are reported to the Quality Manager immediately.
- Ensure non-conforming material is reworked to requirements of both procedure and customer.
- Ensure all production documentation conforms to company standard.
- Ensure all non-conforming material are logged and controlled.
- Ensure strict adherence to process/procedures.

**Experience**:

- Quality Control Inspection
- Reporting using in-house QMS
- Experienced in visual inspections down to component level
- Sampling against ISO recognised sampling plans
- Defect / None-conformity Investigation
- Electronics or electrical manufacturing background
- Ability to use or learn AOI and X-Ray machines for inspection
- Computer literate
- Ability to prepare analyse and report quality statistics.
- Hands-on trouble-shooting ability

**Rates/Hours**
- £22-£25k
- 37.5hr week
- 4-day week
- Days-7am to 5pm Mon-Wed, 7am-4pm on Thu
- Overtime is based on basic rate, x1.5 after 37.5hrs and Sat and x2 on Sundays
