**About you**

**Responsibilities**
- Raise the profile and voice of H.U.M.A.N. (Help Unify Mankind And Nations)
- Support the Director with general administration tasks, proofreading content for errors and inconsistencies.
- Manage team of interns/volunteers, including advertising, hiring, inducting and training when necessary, and maintain motivation.
- Participate in Developing and writing funding proposals from different funding streams to secure funds for H.U.M.A.N. projects.
- Support the business with the design of projects. This may include consultation with partners, designing activities, budgeting, creating timelines for delivery and monitoring & evaluation planning.
- Researching and advising on diversity and inclusion issues and creating/contributing to the delivery of programmes, and all associated tasks.
- Coordinating activities with partners, reviewing financial and narrative reports, grant management and keeping up-to-date records of project activities.
- Ability to multitask and prioritise business needs
- Effective written and communication skills
- Knowledge of Equity, Diversity & Inclusion in the workplace, education and for marginalised groups, specifically pertaining to the Equality Act 2010 - 9 Protected Characteristics.
- Ability to accurately and comprehensive record/ note down information, follow the requirements needed, while using own initiative to achieve business outcomes from this data.
- To write training programmes, support delivery of workshops, and independently deliver training when required to do so.

**Essential requirements**
- Bachelor's degree preferred
- Breadth of knowledge and/or lived experience in Diversity & Inclusion
- Ability to support dyslexic needs and other intersectionality’s
- Experience of training or teaching
- Knowledge of self-employment/ finance
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Excellent time management and organisational skills
- Strategic management skills

**Other duties**
- Ability to work under own initiative to prioritise and manage a varied workload and competing priorities; attention to detail.
- Knowledge and understanding of the issues affecting discriminated and disadvantaged groups.
- Devising/maintaining office systems, including data management and filing.
- Arranging travel, visas and accommodation, and occasionally travelling with the manager to

take notes or dictation at meetings or to provide general assistance during presentations.
- Screening phone calls, enquiries and requests, and handling them when appropriate.
- Organising and maintaining diaries and making appointments.
- Producing documents, briefing papers, reports and presentations.
- Organising and attending meetings and ensuring the Director is well prepared for meetings.
- Liaising with clients, suppliers and other staff.
- Ability to multitask and prioritise daily workload
- Primary role is to support the Director
- To complete additional duties commensurate with the role, responsibilities and pay scale.
