We are supporting a leading Wholesale Insurance Broker to recruit two Commercial Account Handlers to join their thriving team based in Birmingham.

As an Account Handler working for a Wholesale broker - you will ultimately help support brokers to place business both digitally and through a broking desk.

This role focuses on building relationships and driving business through for your commercial broker clients whillst maintaining strong relationships with insurers.

About the role
- You will collaborate with Strategic Account Managers to ensure a targeted approach is taken with broker members.
- You will play a key role in gathering feedback to improve the value proposition.
- You will contribute to the development of new business.
- Maintain best in class relationships with members and insurers and internal teams.

Key skills and experience
- Minimum of 2/3 years proven commercial insurance experience in broking or underwriting with a track record of placing business.
- Strong understanding of the cross-class commercial insurance market and processes.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Flexibility and resilience.
- Aptitude for technology, with experience in Acturis and Microsoft products preferred.
- Desire to progress further insurance qualifications a plus.
- Keen to develop a career working in wholesale broking

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: From £38,000.00 per year
