**Responsibilities**:
**Bookkeeping**
- Maintain accurate financial records by recording all financial transactions.
- Enter purchase invoices into the accounting system.
- Prepare and post monthly journals to ensure accurate and up-to-date financial information.
- Reconcile sales invoices with customer payments to identify any discrepancies.
- Stock adjustments

**Supplier Payments and Reconciliation**
- Process supplier payments accurately and in a timely manner.
- Match purchase orders with supplier invoices to identify any discrepancies.
- Reconcile supplier invoices and statements to maintain accurate accounts payable records.

**Bank Reconciliation**
- Perform bank reconciliations to ensure all transactions are recorded accurately.
- Reconcile PayPal, bank account and Shopify account transactions.
- Investigate and resolve any discrepancies identified during the bank reconciliation process.

**Supplier Invoice and Purchase Order Reconciliation**
- Reconcile supplier invoices with purchase orders to ensure accurate recording of expenses.
- Verify equipment delivery prior to processing invoice payments
- Analyse costs and identify opportunities for cost reduction.

**Payroll**
- Liaise with our payroll processing company to ensure accurate and timely payment of employee salaries and benefits.

**End of Month and Management Accounts**
- Assist in preparing nominal journals, purchase accruals, stock adjustments and prepayment journals for the end-of-month process.
- Prepare end-of-month accounts by gathering and analysing financial data.
- Prepare Management Account Pack for monthly board review

**Accounts and Sales Data Analysis**
- Analyse financial data to identify trends, patterns, and areas for improvement.
- Analyse overheads and expenses and improve efficiencies.
- Prepare reports and presentations summarizing the findings of the analysis.
- Collaborate with other departments to provide insights and recommendations based on data analysis.

**Requirements**:

- AAT 3 Level 3 Diploma in Accounting
- Experience in a similar role
- Experience in producing financial management reports
- Proficiency in using accounting software and MS Excel, Xero experience preferred.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Good organizational and time management skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

**Job Type**: Part-time
Part-time hours: 16 per week

**Salary**: £9,300.00-£10,600.00 per year
