**Riverside East - Waiting Staff**

Peppermint Events are excited to offer a rare opportunity at their brand-new F+B Venue, Riverside East in Queen Elizabeth Park, London. Based in the heart of the iconic Olympic Park this venue will be re-imagined to become a multi-functioning destination F & B space. The inside offering will come for a fully refurbished 2 story café / restaurant space with the ground floor serving the varied passing trade from dog walkers, runners and students with a grab and go and small but inspiring seated all day brunch style menu. Upstairs features a stunning internal space with a large roof Terrace overlooking the area, this will deliver both evening dining, weekend brunch and Sunday roasts as well as being a bookable space for events. This venue has a capacity of circa 1500 and will be open all year round.

Join our newest venture and become a part of our venue team as a food server, you will be a key player in delivering exceptional food and beverage experiences. We’re seeking a dynamic and organized individual to support the operations of our new dining area, ensuring all customers have a fantastic guest experience. The role will involve serving food and beverages within the large roof terrace, the 2-story café, and ground floor restaurant.

Key Accountabilities:

- Greeting customers in a warmly manner and providing menus
- Providing information on specials, promotions, and menu changes
- Taking accurate customer orders
- Coordinating with the kitchen and other staff to ensure smooth dining experience and a timely serving of dishes
- Setting up tables and maintaining a clean and tidy dining area
- Clearing tables of used dishes in a timely manner
- Processing payments accurately and efficiently
- Addressing customer concerns and complaints
- Ensure all customers have a great guest experience

Key Working Relationships: AGM, Senior Bar Manager

Knowledge/Experience/Skills Essential:

- Being able to answer customer queries about food and beverages
- Understanding the importance of allergens
- Outstanding communication skills
- Experience working in a fast-paced environment
- Knowledge of beers, wines, spirits & classic cocktails.
- Fantastic organisational skills
- Knowledge of the current menu and any upselling
- Excellent problem-solving skills, adaptable and flexible
- Fun, friendly, and a team-player

PROFESSIONAL QUALIFICATIONS

PREFERRED:

- Previous experience in a similar role
