**Treasury Assistant**

This role presents an excellent opportunity to work in a broad cashbook department for an established Fashion company. Continuing to develop your business partnering and analytical skills you’ll have exposure to senior stakeholders that you might not haveaccess to in other companies.

You will work closely with the Treasury Manager and take ownership of the day-to-day treasury activities working within the team including cash management, bank account management and reporting. You’ll execute several cashbook improvement projects and helpestablish an efficient cashbook function.

**Your Duties**:

- You will reconcile and overview the business bank accounts.
- You will reconcile and overview the direct retail, eCommerce, and concession sales (Cash, Visa, Amex, PayPal etc.)
- You’ll report on actual cash flows by category and compile cash flow projections.
- You will analyse the daily cash pool positions across all currencies (USD, GBP, EUR, DKK, NOK, and HKD) and establish the global cash requirements of the group. Maintain a rolling monthly cash flow forecast to project funding requirements.
- You will manage the funding of cash requirements.
- You’ll execute multiple department improvement projects.
- You will action cashbook, intercompany and other miscellaneous payments that fall outside of the AP/AR team’s remit.
- You’ll liaise with Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable teams on unknown receipts and payments going through bank accounts.
- You will work with the Treasury Manager to streamline reporting and ensure the smooth operation of all Cashbook matters.
- You must collate and enter data for various financial spreadsheets.
- You will assist with any other Ad-Hoc duties assigned.

**Your Skills and Experience**
- You ideally have 3+ years of Treasury and cash book-related experience.
- If you have SAP knowledge and experience, this would be an advantage.
- You have progressive experience in accounting and or finance.
- You have strong reconciliation skills.
- If you know the Retail industry, this would be an advantage.
- You are well organised with strength in prioritising.
- You have a flexible attitude to achieve results.
- You can work to tight deadlines to ensure company demands are met for month-end reconciliations.
- You can plan and organise.
- You are strong with information collection and management.
- You can problem solve.
- You have high attention to detail.
- You can make decisions.
- You have strong communication skills.
- You have strong customer service skills.
- You can keep sensitive information confidential.
- You can work under pressure.

**Remuneration and Rewards**
- £27,000 - £32,000 Base Salary
- 25 Days Holiday + Bank holidays
