Lunchtime Supervisor

**The job itself**:
We are seeking to appoint a reliable, enthusiastic and caring Lunchtime Supervisor to be part of our dedicated team in our village school. You will have a firm but kind and patient personality. Working hours are 11.45am - 1.15pm, Thursday and Friday (additional hours/days are available if required).

Duties will include:

- Ensuring the lunchtime environment is safe and enjoyable for all pupils
- Supervising pupils in the lunch hall, encouraging independence, good manners and healthy eating habits
- Supervising pupils on the playground or indoors on wet days and encouraging positive play and good behaviour
- As part of a team, helping to set up and put away lunch tables and chairs (some manual handling and lifting will be required)
- Attending staff meetings and completing mandatory training as required (eg, safeguarding, manual handling)
- Working in line with school policies and procedures
- Adhering to the Staff Code of Conduct at all times
- Performing other duties as reasonably correspond to the general character of the post and are commensurate with its level of responsibility
