**Role Overview**
We are seeking an Operational Resilience / Business Continuity Internal Auditorto join ZR Consultants.
The primary responsibility of this role is to assess the organisation's business continuity and resilience framework through document reviews, stakeholder interviews, and gap assessments. This involves evaluating various aspects such as governance structures, resource allocation, strategy, framework completeness, training effectiveness, monitoring and reporting criteria, and roll-out plans. The auditor is expected to identify risks and control weaknesses, provide recommendations for improvement, and summarise findings in a comprehensive audit report.
**Key Responsibilities**:
In this role, the Operational Resilience Internal Auditor will be required to perform the following:
- Perform review of resilience framework documentation and lead interviews with key stakeholders to assess following:
- Appropriateness of the security and resilience governance structures
- Adequacy of the allocated resources
- Clarity of the strategy to articulate objectives, roles, and responsibilities
- Completeness and accuracy of the business continuity & resilience framework
- Effectiveness of the training programmes for staff
- Effectiveness of key templates for preparing resilience plans and impact assessments
- Appropriateness of the criteria used to monitor and report on operational resilience performance
- Completeness & accuracy of the business continuity & resilience roll-out plan.
- Provide recommendations and guidance over gaps / weaknesses identified
- Prepare a high-quality draft business continuity & resilience audit report and present to key stakeholders
- Prepare a Audit File which contains all the evidence to support all findings and is clearly cross referenced to allow a third party to follow it
- Present weekly progress reports to Risk Assurance Team during fieldwork
- Attend debrief meeting with key stakeholders to present findings & recommendations
- Prepare an audit file containing all evidence to support audit conclusions
- Prepare a draft business continuity & resilience audit report
- Address review points from the risk assurance team
- Attend draft report meeting with key stakeholders to discuss report outcomes and agree findings
- Ability to travel as necessary to meet client needs
**Desired Skills / Experience**:
- Conducting business continuity & resilience operational audits in accordance with ISO 22316:2017 (Security & Resilience)
- Interviewing and engaging with key stakeholders to assess resilience frameworks
- Identifying key business continuity & resilience risks
- Evaluating the design and operational effectiveness of controls to mitigate business continuity and resilience risks identified
- Performing business continuity & resilience gap assessments
- Summarising operational audit results into a draft report and reporting to management
- Providing recommendations and guidance over gaps / weaknesses identified
