£23,000- £25,000 plus shift allowance and bonus
Our clients based in the heart of Birmingham require a Laboratory technician to join there expanding team. Specialists and leaders in their field, this is great opportunity for a chemistry graduate to start a career in the industry.
Laboratory Technician duties include
- " Preparation of Samples for Examination and Testing
" Use of specialist machinery for inspection and testing
" Complete physical testing including tensile strength
" Equipment maintenance and troubleshooting
" Preparation of test reports
A Laboratory Technician will need to have
- " A degree in Chemistry or similar
" Excellent attention to detail
" Ability to plan and manage own workload
" Some experience of working in a mechanical testing environment or laboratory would be advantageous
