**JOB DESCRIPTION**
Do you have a passion for inspiring people through communications and are looking for your next career opportunity ?
As a Operational Communications Associate, you will be joining a fast-paced Internal Communications team within Chase UK’s Customer Operations business. This is a digital bank like no other, which is why we’re looking for someone with a depth of communications knowledge and expertise, but with a creative flair and growth mindset. Reporting to the Senior Communications and Engagement Associate, you’ll lean in to support with overarching communications for the bank’s core functions, while overseeing a small team with specific responsibility for the Change and Support function.
You will be a trusted advisor to your senior stakeholders, always ready to provide solutions and ideas for the best way to communicate, and able to challenge confidently
**Responsibilities**:
- As we scale-up and the team grows, you will have the opportunity to specialize in one or two of these functions, in line with operational needs
- Outstanding communication skills, and be able to flex your style between corporate and storytelling, maintaining our warm and friendly tone of voice
- While the bank is still in growth mode, you’ll need to remain agile and work with a certain amount of ambiguity too
- The ability to measure how our communications are landing and provide useful insights and analysis to help us improve
- Our employee engagement scores are off the scale and we want to keep it that way, so we need you to LOVE people and have a passion for inspiring them through communication
**Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills**:
- Experience gained within a similar role and environment, ideally you will hit the ground running
- Previous leadership skills with a passion for mentoring and developing others
- You will find new and innovative ways to keep our people informed and engaged, while delivering ‘on brand’ communications and delivering internal campaigns and driving-up engagement
- Experience of delivering in-person and virtual events such as town halls and fireside chats, along with some digital communications and internal campaigning experience
**Preferred qualifications, capabilities and skills**:
- A degree in communications, marketing or similar
- We appreciate that not everyone can tick every single box, so if you think you’ve got most of what it takes to do this role, and you’re willing to develop on-the-job, then please apply.
