Carpet Fitter

Duties:
In this job you could work on domestic and commercial jobs and will:

- measure floor space and estimate the amount of materials needed
- clear away furniture and take off doors
- remove old flooring
- clean, level and seal the work area
- glue or nail underlay and floor coverings
- stretch carpet over spiked gripper rods and taping
- heat-seal joins and edges on vinyl flooring
- spray or wax floor coverings to give them a protective coating
- use fast-track flooring systems
- put furniture back and trim and re-hang doors

**Experience**:

- Experience in Carpet fitting is preferrable.
- Proficient in using hand tools, power tools, and specialized equipment related to Carpet fitting.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team.
- Must be able to communicate in Urdu and punjabi as 95% of our customer speak Urdu or Punjabi.

Pay: £38,900.00-£39,000.00 per year
