Job description:
The M&A Integration Manager role exists to lead and manage the end-to-end integration across all workstreams, and manage a transition period for acquired businesses that needs to be fast, efficient and effective. You will help define and drive the ClearCourseGroup’s consistent, efficient, and holistic integration approach for Mergers & Acquisitions.

You will work alongside the M&A Team, finance, Technology, HR, Sales, Support, Professional Services, Operations and IT groups within the ClearCourse Group to support the business in the post-acquisition and subsequent integration of the Target Company intothe ClearCourse group. This role is responsible for leading the day to day integration process, managing key internal and external relationships, providing key insights, and recommendations for the integration of the target Company. The role is accountablefor the creation and delivery of a disciplined integration strategy, process and execution plan. Whilst you will not be held accountable for the target company P&L, you will certainly be interested in the monthly P&L as this is a key indicator on operationsand the impact integration is having.

**Requirements**:
**Key Accountabilities**:

- Partner with the various ClearCourse Group CXO areas and business areas to ensure a smooth, effective and efficient integration of the target business into the respective ClearCourse Division(s)
- Manage the overall process and timing for M&A integration activities, conducting regular team meetings, monitoring status and driving proactive escalation/resolution of issues and dependencies all across the integration process
- Support the target Company in developing and executing change and comms activities to effectively manage change e.g. people changes
- Develop and manage integration budget and monitors expenditures to ensure that they remain within prescribed, budgetary limits
- Clearly communicate integration status, issues, and risks
- Lead and execute rigorous, independent strategic, quantitative, and qualitative analysis
- Manage dialogue and processes between the target company and the respective ClearCourse Group areas to ensure all items of integration are satisfactorily incorporated. This could incorporate some or all of legal, finance, sales, HR, Technology, Support, ProfessionalServices, Operations, and any other areas deemed necessary for a smooth integration process
- Work with senior management in the target company and ClearCourse Group formulating, articulating and implementing the integration plan
- Manage clear assignments, common formats for their outputs, disciplined timelines, and coordinated meeting schedules, communication mechanisms and review processes to drive the integration process
- Motivate and involve people through existing and possibly new channels of authority
- The disconnecting and reconnecting of organisations can sometimes create ambiguity, where people don’t know what they should be doing and what process to follow. Your role is to be able to facilitate groups, mobilise people and agree quickly strategies thatcommunicate and provide direction

**Required skills & experience**:

- 5-7 years of professional experience including 2-3 years in consulting or equivalent Corporate Strategy and Development roles with direct, hands-on experience in Mergers & Acquisitions Integration planning, execution and risk management
- Ability to collaborate with cross functional partners
- Ability to develop project plans and independently manage project execution
- Adept at communicating across all levels of the organization, from C-level executives to operating team members
- High energy, positive attitude and motivated
- Significant transaction and integration experience with SME's preferably in the software or professional services sectors and preferably in a PE backed environment an advantage
- Strong academic record
