Warehouse Layout Operative
Stead House Distribution Centre (SHDC), Darlington

**Role Purpose**:
A Warehouse Layout Operative will support the Shift Manager and the wider team with layout optimisation, promotional set up and peak unit volumes within the Warehouse. A passion for results will ensure that all specified standards are maintained, if not exceeded. This role will report to the Team Leader for Stead House Distribution Centre.

**A typical day in this role includes**:
Inputting and audit of Data for outside storage
Running daily reports
Slotting locations
Identifying any problems and resolving them
Route stock for optimal efficiency
Liaise with replenishers/ managers/ all departments/supply chain
Set up and control Christmas and special events
Maintain the layout of Savers within the DC

**What you’ll need**:
Working Flexibly to meet the demands of the business - you will be required to work an 8am-4pm shift pattern
PC knowledge would be an advantage using Wins, Retek Microsoft office.
Confidence in office 365 products, specifically excel
Excellent organizational and time management skills
Forward thinking to help plan key events such as Christmas, layout changes, Star buys and promotions.
Good teamwork skills, as well as the ability to work on your own
Always demonstrate and maintain a high level of health and safety awareness around the warehouse, ensuring own safety and the safety of others. Adopting the ASW, H&S Values: Always Safe at work; think smart, think safe
