Social Media Executive

**Role and responsibilities**:
The Social Media Executive is responsible for maintaining and growing the brand across our top social media channels. They are responsible for the Social Media accounts for The Lakes by YOO, YOO Worldwide and YOO Capital and ensuring that content is consistently posted to our channels to drive interest and revenue.
You will assist with project research and create high level brand presentations that reflect our heritage as a design brand. You will also work across several media channels, with a primary focus on assisting with the management of our social media platforms and website, ensuring we are keeping a consistent online presence with relevant and interesting content that is on brand and engages our audience. Ideally, you have graphic design and basic video content creation skills. The design tasks will be varied and challenging, so be prepared to work on designs that are creative and engaging.
**Job brief**:
- Create engaging, high-quality content through photography and video editing.
- Scheduling daily social media posts for release across all channels
- Brief digital agency on paid advertising
- Monitoring the content on the websites and updating as needed
- Reporting to the team and management on social media growth and trends, including making recommendations and taking action to increase engagements and followers every month
- Writing a monthly internal newsletter for employees to build a sense of community
- Collaborate with the team for in-office strategies and on-location shoots.
- Co-ordinating photo shoots
- Maintaining a good archive of images/videos
**Skills required**:
- Skills in video editing and photography
- Excellent communication skills and a knack for storytelling
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Ability to work across multiple projects at a time and meet given deadlines
- Excellent command of the English language, with a passion for creating compelling and persuasive content
- Growth-focused mindset, with a keen eye for prioritisation to maximise effort versus reward
- Analytical skills, including constructing clear narratives based on patterns spotted using data in Google Analytics and social media dashboards
- Familiarity with TikTok, LinkedIn, Instagram and other social media platforms.
- Basic knowledge of Photoshop, InDesign and Canva a plus
- Hospitality experience is preferred
