Joiner (Sub-contractor)

We are currently seeking experienced and skilled Joiners who are interested in subcontracting opportunities to join our team. As a Sub-contractor Joiner, you will be responsible for executing a wide range of joinery and carpentry tasks to meet the needs of our clients. This role offers the opportunity to work on diverse projects, ranging from residential renovations to commercial installations.

**Key Responsibilities**:
Perform a variety of joinery tasks including but not limited to:

- Installation of doors, windows, and frames
- Fitting of skirting boards, architraves, and mouldings
- Construction of bespoke furniture and cabinetry
- Installation of wooden flooring and staircases
- Repair and maintenance of existing woodwork.
- Interpret and follow blueprints, sketches, and technical drawings to ensure precise execution of joinery work.
- Utilise a range of hand and power tools safely and effectively to complete tasks efficiently.
- Collaborate with other tradespeople and contractors on-site to ensure seamless coordination and timely completion of projects.
- Maintain a high standard of workmanship, paying attention to detail and adhering to relevant building regulations and safety standards.
- Communicate effectively with clients, project managers, and other stakeholders to understand project requirements and provide updates on progress as required.

**Requirements**:

- Proven experience as a Joiner or Carpenter, with a minimum of [X years] in a similar role.
- Proficiency in various joinery techniques and methods, with a strong focus on quality craftsmanship.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, demonstrating excellent time management and organisational skills.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to liaise effectively with clients and colleagues.
- Valid CSCS card and relevant qualifications in joinery or carpentry.
- Own tools and transportation.
- Flexibility to work on various sites across the UK as required.
- Willingness to subcontract for work already won under the hiring group.
