**Marketing Assistant - Part time**

**Location**:Homebased, Sheffield or surrounding area. Occasional face to face meetings.

**Function**:As part of the Tentsile Marketing team, you’ll help to deliver the customer communications strategy on our social channels ensuring all activity is optimised to business objectives.

**Reporting line to**: Global Marketing Director

**Salary**: £21,000 pa FTE - Part time: 0.6 / 24 hours per week Pro-Rata. Flexible working hours available.

**Role at a Glance**

The purpose of this role is to manage and develop our current social media channels - Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, Youtube, X, Pinterest, LinkedIn. You will be required to plan, generate, and publish engaging and creative content to help maintain and grow our audience. This role is pivotal in growing our brand awareness amongst our target audience and requires research and analysis into social media trends, visitor data, relevant hashtags to improve social media presence and campaign efficacy.

You will be required to work to demanding timescales and manage more than one project / piece of work at a time. You will bring enthusiasm, creativity, and a natural flair for Social Media to this role. Planning and building out brand collaborations and giveaways with like-minded brands also plays a pivotal part in this role. You will create a quarterly calendar of activity to ensure we have a constant stream of activity in the pipeline. This is a unique opportunity for a recent graduate or young marketing professional, who is looking to develop their skills working with and exciting and dynamic brand.

**Main Responsibilities**
- Oversees all company social media account management
- Planning quarterly, monthly and weekly social content calendars.
- Publishing and scheduling of content across Social Media platforms globally.
- Producing channel relevant engaging, creative and innovative content to create a rich consumer experience, including writing blog content and editing film content.
- Developing our hashtag strategy, researching and planning to uncover new #’s to drive further brand exposure.
- Helping to develop campaign and content ideas which align to the brand, drive engagement, and tell the brand story.
- Managing Yotpo, our social content platform to manage all our UGC and initiate influencer conversations.
- Community Management - monitoring of all our social communities to ensure we are responding to comments in a timely way, in our Brand tone of voice.
- Developing the Tentsile Community to grow the reach and influence of this group of loyal promoters.
- Accompanying Marketing team on content shoots, being on hand to support with everything from carrying and setting up gear, to modelling and capturing basic Reel/ Story content on mobile. May require occasional national travel but will be mostly local to Sheffield area.
- Assisting the Marketing Director and Executive team with Marketing and Comms activity as required.
- Creation of a brand collaboration calendar for giveaways and content
- Reporting and analysis of all social media activity to determine efficacy and areas for improvement as well as monitoring competitor and collaborator activity on social channels to stay ahead of emerging trends and scope out opportunities for development.

- Strong written skills for copywriting for social posts (essential
- Ability to tailor content or information that needs careful explanation or interpretation to suit the needs of different audiences (essential)
- Strong interpersonal skills for community management and engagement (essential)
- Articulate, energetic and self-motivated - a strong team player who is able to work unsupervised (essential)
- Degree in Marketing or Social Media qualification (desirable).
- Ability to edit videos / images (desirable)
- 1 year experience in a Marketing related role (desirable)
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (desirable)

**Job Types**: Part-time, Temporary
Contract length: 6 months

**Salary**: £21,000.00 per year
