**Animal/Dog Warden**

Our client based in Slough are looking to hire an Animal / Dog Warden.
- This is a temporary ongoing role with possibility of becoming permanent.
- 37.5 hours a week or 40 hours for the night shift**Salary**: £12/hour day shift**Main Role for Animal/Dog Warden**:

- Minimise nuisance caused by stray dogs, keeping strays from the streets using approved methods of catching dogs.
- Minimise nuisance caused by all dogs, whether stray or not, in respect of dog fouling, noise nuisance from barking and aggressive behaviour through education and enforcement.
- Collection of stray dogs, care and kennel duties
- Promote responsible dog ownership.

**Key Skills for Animal/Dog warden**:

- Valid, full, UK driving licence (must have had a licence for at least 3 years and be able to drive a van the size of a Ford Transit)
- Good basic education and ability to maintain written and electronic records (Must be computer literate with experience on tablets and mobile phone systems)
- A caring and practical attitude to dog handling, and previous relevant experience working with animals
- Able to work indoors, outdoors and wear appropriate uniform clothing
- Adequate physical fitness to handle animals
- Reliable, self-motivated, well organised and able to work with mínimal supervision

PLEASE NOTE: No experience necessary as we do give full training also van, fuel, uniform will be provided- Day - 11am till 7pm

- 1 pm till 9 pm- Night shift 4pm to 4 am (occassional)

Location: This is based at Slough but covers a vast area, with possibly going as far as Milton Keynes or Greenwich and Bromley council areas.
- Every day will be different and will not always entail going to these areas.-
