Virtual Financial Planner
Thought it was impossible to be a successful Financial Planner and achieve genuine work life balance? Think again. With our Virtual Financial Planner role you will get to devote your time to the parts of your job you love - engaging with your clients. No endless driving between client meetings, no big new business targets - just building relationships and using your technical ability to add value.
At Old Mill, you will be supported by a brilliant technical, administration and compliance team which will allow you to focus on providing bespoke advice and truly adding value.
To add to this hugely valuable support, we have a clear investment philosophy and run our own investment portfolios with the aim of delivering a successful investment experience for our clients. Our Investment Committee and our Investment Manager will be there to provide all the assistance you need to confidently introduce the Old Mill investment proposition to your clients. The close links with our accountancy colleagues and our integrated approach to client service mean you will be working in partnership with other Old Mill specialists - all of this setting you up to provide exceptional client service and to enjoy a long and successful career with Old Mill.
This role can be worked flexibly from any of our offices, and we can also accommodate hybrid working.
**Why Old Mill**
It is hard to sum up in just a few words, what makes us different. Some of our people will reference our drive to innovate beyond being a traditional accountancy and financial planning practice, some will talk of the amazing clients we work with. But we know the vast majority will talk about our culture and the colleagues they get to work with. ‘Lovely to Work with’ is one of our core values which as a firm we all live and breathe. So much so that at Old Mill, we don’t often experience that Sunday feeling, nor do we suffer the Monday morning blues.
**Requirements**:
You will have already achieved your Financial Planning qualifications and will have experience of advising clients and this could be the opportunity to work in an independent setting you have been looking for.
**Benefits**
**Your Perks**
From flexible working to a plethora of perks, enjoy genuine work-life balance. We believe that happy employees and happy teams = productivity and success.
Old Mill employees are growing minds, not static functions, we provide funding for professional qualifications and transferable skills training is provided vivaciously.
You’ll get a minimum of 26 days holiday plus bank holidays, and an extra day off for birthday celebrations. Need a bit extra? Just ask. Up to five extra days are purchasable.
There is much more to say but we’ll save that for later. Flexible working, an attractive remuneration package, Pension benefits, Death in Service benefits, to name but a few.
