This is a vital position within the business where you will be reporting to the EMEA Financial Controller on a daily basis at the companies head offices based near Weybridge. The main components of this position are going to be focusing on taking full ownershipof the Norwegian entity for the business, so having an understanding of dealing with multi-currency will be crucial for this role.

**The Role**

In this EMEA Financial Accountant role you will be responsible, but not limited to:

- Preparation of statutory and regulatory audits in the Nordics
- Pro-active liaison with local tax advisers for Nordics including preparation and submission of return and reports to local tax adviser's.
- Preparation and submission of monthly and annual VAT returns for Nordics.
- Work closely with Global Tax department to provide information and calculations as requested, including items required for Corporation tax returns, plan and forecast
- Preparation of quarterly balance sheet reconciliations for Nordics Corporate tax and VAT accounts
- Preparation of inter-company agreements, including calculations and presenting documents for review by International Legal and Global tax
- Assistance with payments from local banks (Nordea)
- Monthly journal entries for Nordics accruals and prepayments including override commissions, VAT, Transfer pricing and related inter-company transactions.
- Monthly / quarterly reconciliations for Nordic Banks, override commissions, VAT, Corporate Tax
- Responsible for ensuring all policies and procedures are updated and documented
- Other duties as required by Finance Manager

**Salary & Benefits**

This EMEA Financial Accountant role will pay up to £35,000 per annum, as well as offer 25 Days Holiday (+ Bank), Pension, Hybrid Working + Further Benefits
