Trainee Sports Massage Therapist

**Job Summary**:
We are seeking trainee Massage Therapists to join our team. This recruitment project is to enable those that are currently unqualified, who want to get into the sports therapy career to come and study with us, with your training funded and paid for. Followed by an interview and subsequent employment.

Your training will be fully funded and paid for through the 19+ Advanced Learner Loans Facility and will be part-time, with your own dedicated tutor. At the same time, you will have the option to complete work experience within our facility. Your training will be flexible to fit around any current commitments, with your subsequent career also flexible, either part-time or full-time. We are looking for people who are not currently qualified so we can train you to the highest standards through our own, accredited training programme, building the team we need for our current expansion project.

Once qualified as a Massage Therapist, you will provide exceptional massage therapy services to both our clients that we have referred to you, in addition to your own clients. You will have the opportunity to work in a professional and supportive environment where your expertise will be valued.

**Duties**:

- Perform various massage techniques including maintenance, pre, and post event massages for rehabilitation, relaxation and recovery.
- Assess clients' needs and create personalized treatment plans
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date client records
- Provide excellent customer service and ensure client satisfaction
- Educate clients on the benefits of massage therapy and recommend appropriate self-care techniques
- Adhere to all health and safety regulations and maintain a clean and organized work area
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals as needed
