**Job Title**: Town Centre Safety Warden

**Location**: Ballymena

**Rate of pay**: £10.42 per hour

**Hours of work**: 35 hours per week

**Days & times of work**: Monday through to Saturday 7/8 hour shifts between 0900 and 1800 With Sunday and one other day off, as per yearly rota.

**Shift Pattern**: 5 shifts between Monday to Saturday with 2 days off.

The main purpose of the role include:

- Patrolling Ballymena town centre areas
- Assisting the community and businesses owners
- Liaise with business owners and visitors to the town centre.
- Help promote a safe clean environment.
- Assist with town centre event operations.
- Reporting concerns to the Police Community Safety Partnership and Ballymena BID line & project managers.
- Helping to tackle anti-social behaviour
- Presenting, a smart, alert, visible and commanding presence at all times.

**Essential Criteria**
- A current valid SIA Licence
- Ability to deliver excellent customer service, with a positive, professional attitude
- Must have excellent communication skills
- Must be able to display a flexible approach to work with the drive to learn multiple disciplines

**Desirable Criteria**
- First Aid training
- Safeguarding adults & children
