**Aquaculture Hatchery Operator - Ormsary Fish Farm**

**Responsibilities**:The team is responsible for the day-to-day care of the stock and rearing facilities, as well as assisting with key production operations such as grading, vaccinating and livestock transport.

**About Us**:We are part of the Hendrix Genetic group, a multi-specie and multinational breeding company. In Scotland, as Landcatch, we are aspecialist breeder & producer of juvenile Atlantic salmon that has been operating on the West coast since 1987. We currently produce around 5 million high quality fry, parr & smolts per year on three production sites in Argyll & Ross-shire.

**We are looking to recruit people who want to begin or further their careers in aquaculture to join our production team at our land-based site in Argyll.**

**Participation in the Alarm & Weekend Duty rota is expected, so a full UK driving licence is essential.**

We offer a competitive salary, dependant on skills & experience, with additional payments for weekends & alarm duties, career guidance and training including Modern Apprenticeship options. Housing may be provided, and assistance with relocation will be when required.

**Salary**: From £23,000.00 per year
