SStS Hostel Co-ordinator

The Tenancy Services Team at BCP Council are looking to recruit a full-time Hostel Co-ordinator.

The team are responsible for managing all aspects of the Council’s temporary accommodation portfolio including Joint Living properties, self-contained, family and singles hostels.

The successful applicant will be based at a hostel for singles whose client group will have experienced street homelessness. You may also be required to work across the other hostels from time to time. They will be responsible for the day-to-day housing management and coordination of support services visiting the scheme. They may also be required to assist in supporting some of the wider team activities including administrative tasks.

The role will be challenging and fast-paced with the successful applicant needing to provide a proactive and efficient service.

This post is covered by Part 7 of the Immigration Act (2016) and therefore the ability to speak fluent English is an essential requirement for the role.

As a result of the creation of BCP Council in 2019, we are working on simplifying our terms and conditions of service and will be creating a single pay structure which all of our employees will move on to.
