Senior Merchandiser

With our collaborator model and in-house garment design, we create unique collections for all occasions. We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Merchandiser to join our dynamic team.

**Roles and Responsibilities**:
**PO/Delivery Management**:

- Review trade actions from the team, including cancellations, rephasing, and amendments at the PO and sub-category level.
- Manage capacity and intake forecasts In line with sales and launch plan and ensure on-time deliveries for launch
- Lead and develop junior team members in all aspects of the critical path

**Sales/Stock/Trade**:

- Prepare Monday trade reports and confidently present them to key stakeholders, providing clear weekly trade actions.
- Review weekly trading performance and achieved KPIs, identifying issues and proposing corrective actions for weekly trading meetings.
- Assess category performance versus FC, determining actions to optimize opportunities and manage risks and margin
- Develop markdown proposals and trading actions to reduce stock in the most profitable manner.
- Participate in weekly Line-Card and WSSI meetings with Merchandisers.
- Efficiently trade New Reactions, identify ideal buy quantities and size ratios based on performance and supplier lead times.
- Implement the Test and Repeat Model to trade in respective areas.

**Forecasting/Range Building**:

- Collaborate with The Merchandising Director to create the department's strategy and present it to key stakeholders.
- Work closely with design and product teams to ensure strong sign-offs based on data-backed decisions.
- Create and analyse Lessons Learned packs for decision-making.
- Develop category-level product mixes using historical data and strategy.
- Ensure that category WSSI's are updated with the buy plan
- Maintain category WSSIs, actualizing weekly and managing OTB
- Create the forecast from category/season level for monthly, seasonal framework plans.
- Oversee the monthly/seasonal Lessons Learned pack, ensuring accuracy and providing high-quality commentary.

**Other**:

- Build collaborative working relationships within the team and across functions.
- Lead the junior team members, managing workloads, deadlines, and daily tasks.
- Stay updated on current and emerging best practices in merchandising and buying.
- Build effective and open relationships with all members of the buying and merchandising team based on reliable, accurate, and relevant data.
- Deliver key information at the right time to the right people and present at high-level meetings when requested by the Directors

**Requirements**:

- At least 5 years of experience at the Merchandiser level.
- Exceptional organizational and accuracy skills.
- Previous experience in a fast-paced fashion environment.
- Proficiency in advanced Excel skills.
- Highly organized with strong attention to detail.
- Ability to build strong supplier relationships and work collaboratively as part of a team.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to build relationships with multiple teams across the business.
- Quick to identify issues and take the initiative to provide appropriate solutions.
- Self-motivated and action-focused.
