Are you a Clinical Specialist looking for to showcase your expertise and skills within a Child and Adolescent Mental Health Service (CAMHS)?

This is a part time (Three days a week) 12 month fixed role within our Stronger Family pathway service based in Wiltshire.

The Stronger Families Team are an intensive edge of care service (supporting 10-18 year olds and their parents/carers) and sit under the young people's service within Wiltshire Council. Stronger Families remit is to prevent the breakdown of the home environment, or if it is felt the young person's needs are best met by coming into care to support the transition of this, and also supporting reunification.

Experience of working within mental health and social care.

Experience of working with adolescents

Some of the day to day activities which you will be involved in are;
Consultation to stronger families where there are concerns around a young person mental health/emotional need and the young person is not already working with CAMHS.

Facilitate bite-sized training to the stronger family's team linked to developing knowledge and skills in supporting young people with mental health/ emotional needs.

Within In Reach we use a “Team around the relationship” AMBIT informed approach meaning there is limited scope for direct work within this role, there are occasional opportunities to join an appointment alongside stronger families to consider the young person's mental health needs and support referral into community CAMHS if indicated (I- thrive model)
