Despatch Team Leader

**The Role**:
The successful Team Leader, will play a critical role within our Despatch team. The Team Leader role will offer a variety of responsibilities including:

- Managing a team within a fast paced manufacturing environment.
- Be accountable for the health & safety, quality, efficiency and standards of delivery in the area.
- Be responsible for effective utilisation of both people and resources.
- Deliver excellent customer service and ensure timely delivery of goods, whilst controlling quality and completing relevant administration.
- Establish and maintain good working relations with staff.
- Ensure all necessary documentation is completed accurately and on time.
- Any other reasonable duties as required.

**Note**: This role involves working in a cold environment.

**The Person**:

- Experience gained within a fast-paced environment managing a team (food manufacturing industry experienced will be advantageous)
- Experience of working to and meeting tight deadlines, whilst adhering to Health & Safety and company standards
- The ability to work well under pressure, with excellent organisational and prioritisation skills
- Superb communication skills
- Good numeracy, literacy, and computer skills

**Hours**:This is a full time permanent position, working a two week rotational rota (seven days over a two weeks period). 12 hour shifts.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: £10.50 per hour

Schedule:

- Weekend availability

Work Location: In person

Expected start date: 12/05/2023
