Synergy Carers are supporting local providers due to unforeseen pressures in the care sector. We are recruiting a Mental Health Support Worker to work in Paignton supporting one of our well-respected care companies.

We are looking for an Experienced Support worker to work in Paignton to start work as soon as possible and have access to a car and a DBS which is enhanced If possible.

Job involves spending quality time outdoors with male service user who just likes to have a laugh and have lots of FUN.

This is a long-term role working 35 hours a week across 3/4 days and you must be a car driver with access to a vehicle.

Initially this opportunity will be on a structured agency basis with structured and agreed hours; however, there is a great prospect for this to evolve into something longer term.

**Duties**:

- Provide support and assistance to individuals with autism and related developmental disabilities.
- Assist with daily living activities, meal preparation, and household tasks.
- Facilitate social and recreational activities to promote socialisation and community integration.
- Document and maintain accurate records of client progress and daily activities.

**Skills**:

- Experience working with children or individuals with autism or developmental disabilities.
- Knowledge of applied behaviour analysis (ABA) principles and techniques.
- Ability to provide patient care and support with compassion and empathy.
