Home Care Support Worker

Our client is seeking support workers providing care and support to vulnerable adults in their own homes.
A minimum of 6 months UK care experience is essential.
**Applicants must have a full UK driving licence and own vehicle.**
It is desirable to have NVQ 2/3 or equivalent and a care certificate.
Rates: £11.58 p/h for weekdays up to 4pm, £12.08 for weekends & weekdays after 4pm.
Successful applicants will be working alternate weeks, so will have every other weekend off.
Duties will include personal care, person-centred care, and support with dressing, showering, washing etc. Also, continence care, medication administration, manual handling, food and drink preparation, and assistance with feeding if required.
Other duties may include helping the service user with laundry, cleaning kitchen/bathroom, making beds and ensuring their home is safe, clean, and tidy.
You may need to go shopping and run errands for the service user and support and maintain relationships with their family members, friends, and wider networks.
It is essential that the service user has the right to choose and refuse the care offered.
