We have one vacancy available based with our Salisbury Bourne Hill Team.

**LIVE **WORK** SUPPORT**

As a Registration Officer (Ceremonies) you will ideally be able to work on occasional weekdays, and definitely on Saturdays, Sundays and Bank Holidays. The work pattern is variable with a high demand for ceremonies in the summer months, much less so throughout the winter. You need to be available to work three Saturdays out of four.

This post does not provide a regular monthly income, payment is claimed for the hours worked and income will vary from month to month and decrease significantly during the winter.

**About the role**

You will conduct and register marriages and civil partnerships and perform Welcoming (Baby Naming ceremonies) and Celebration of Marriage ceremonies (Renewal of Wedding Vows ceremonies) at our own ceremony rooms and licensed approved venues throughout the county.

**About you**

You will have excellent communication skills and be able to relate tactfully and sensitively to our couples and their guests. You will be a team player, with lots of enthusiasm and will be expected, on completion of your training, to maintain high standards of detailed registration practice and customer service.

The ability to write neatly, work accurately, and be competent in the use of Microsoft Office is essential. You will also receive training in our Service specific IT packages.
