We are a reputable social housing contractor with our main office based in Romford. We specialize in providing high-quality housing solutions to our clients, ensuring safe and comfortable living environments. We are currently seeking a dedicated and experienced Disrepairs Supervisor to join our team.

**Position: Disrepairs Supervisor** **Location: Romford, with travel to South and North London** **Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM** **Contract Type: Temporary to Permanent**

**Responsibilities**: As a Disrepairs Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing and coordinating the investigations of reported disrepairs within our social housing properties. Your main responsibilities will include:

- Managing a team of Disrepairs Investigators, providing guidance, support, and ensuring their work is carried out efficiently and to a high standard.
- Conducting thorough investigations of reported disrepairs, identifying the root cause, and determining the appropriate remedial actions.
- Liaising with tenants, contractors, and internal stakeholders to coordinate repairs and ensure timely resolutions.
- Ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations throughout the investigation and repair process.
- Monitoring the progress of repairs, maintaining accurate records, and reporting on key performance indicators (KPIs).
- Providing excellent customer service, addressing any concerns or complaints in a professional and timely manner.

**Requirements**: To be successful in this role, you should possess the following qualifications and skills:

- Previous experience in a similar role, preferably within the social housing or property maintenance sector.
- Strong knowledge of housing disrepairs and relevant legislation, including the Homes (Fitness for Human Habitation) Act 2018.
- Excellent leadership and people management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team.
- Effective communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to build rapport with stakeholders at all levels.
- Solid problem-solving and decision-making abilities, with a focus on delivering practical and cost-effective solutions.
- A valid UK driving license and willingness to travel between the office and different sites in South and North London.
