Your new role
We are excited to offer the opportunity to join our wonderful school and work with our exceptional students. We are currently recruiting for a Behaviour and Welfare Assistant to join our well established team. Among other responsibilities the appointed personwill be accountable for the highest standards of behaviour of pupils at Wilds Lodge School, including:

- Involvement in assessing and evaluating pupil behaviour patterns (concerns and SIR) and setting targets for improvement (Risk Reduction Plans)
- Involvement in developing and enhancing the behaviour management skills of staff working across the school
- Delivering 1:1 behaviour support when necessary

Experience of working with people with autism is not necessary, but a commitment to learning is.
About Wilds Lodge:
We are an Ofsted Outstanding independent 38 week specialist boarding and day provision for boys and girls aged between 5 and 19 with social, emotional and mental health difficulties. We have a person-centred focus, providing each child with a personalised educationand care programme tailored to help meet their unique needs. The key to the success of the school is a strong ethos, developed by a highly experienced and capable staff, and the strength of the relationships between the staff and the students.
The school draws nationally from Local Education Authorities and currently has approximately 100 students on roll of which a small percentage are day students. The students are grouped into five residential houses with close regard to their chronological age,their social needs and their personal maturity. The main needs of pupils with SEN at the school are social, emotional and mental health difficulties and Autistic Spectrum Disorder.
