**Full time** - day and night shift
**Location** - St Austell, PL26 8DY
**Salary -** £26,080 rising to £30,791

**A hands-on role with high level of responsibility for our tunnel kiln and the opportunity to undertake mobile plant training.**

**About the role**

This role is critical to the continuous operation of our tunnel kiln that reaches 1500 degrees and runs 365 days of the year. Based at our Parkandillick Calciner plant and reporting to the Day Captain you’ll be joining our friendly and conscientious teamin ensuring smooth and continuous production; safely and efficiently. It’s a hands-on role where you’ll be working with automated machinery, taking material samples and operating mobile plant. Full training is provided in operating the kiln as well as mobileplant, if necessary.

**Your skills and experience**

Bringing your motivation, enthusiasm, and team spirit you’ll have excellent EHS knowledge and awareness and ideally be familiar with Lock out, Tag Out and Try Out processes.

In addition:

- experience of working in an industrial setting
- previous kiln work would be ideal
- SCADA or thermal drying experience is advantageous
- full UK driving licence is essential
- a forklift truck licence would be advantageous although training will be provided
