**THE POSITION**:
Prospero Teaching are currently seeking experienced **Tutors**with **Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)** to provide 1:1 educational support to students in **Burnham-On-Sea**with an **Immediate Start**.

At Prospero Teaching, we work closely with the local authorities, mainstream schools, and SEND Teams in the Somerset area and we specialise in providing qualified and experienced tutors to work with children in looked after care (LAC/CLA), pupils in mainstreamschools that require additional educational support and young people who are not currently accessing mainstream education.

Sessions will be taking place face-to-face at student's homes, their schools, and potentially local community hubs too. Applicants must therefore be willing to travel for their sessions as well as being available to work online when required. Further knowledgeof the student's ability and targets for education will be provided, but you will be expected to gather your own resources and deliver the curriculum you deem fit based on your observations.

**VACANCY DETAILS**:

- **Hours**: during school hours (8:30am-4:30pm)
- **Start Date**:Immediately
- **Pay Rate**:£30 per hour

**EXPERIENCE, TRAINING AND QUALIFICATIONS**
- Qualified Teacher Status - essential
- Experience teaching within a school environment or tutoring students on a 1:1 basis
- SEND experience - SEMH and challenging behaviour in particular
- Kind, caring and compassionate nature with the proven ability to reengage students with learning
- Enhanced Child DBS on the Update Service
- Up to date Safeguarding & Prevent Training issued within the last year - Prospero Teaching can provide this training

- Hold the Right to Work in the UK
- Provide two professional references
