Job Overview: We are seeking a skilled and motivated Commis to join our team. As a Commis, you will assist in food preparation, ensure food safety, and support the kitchen and restaurant operations. Responsibilities: - Assist in food preparation and cooking under the guidance of senior chefs - Follow recipes and portion control guidelines to ensure consistent quality - Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area - Adhere to food safety and sanitation standards - Collaborate with the kitchen team to ensure smooth operations - Support in inventory management and stock rotation - Assist in plating and presentation of dishes - Provide exceptional customer service by addressing customer inquiries and concerns Skills: - Strong leadership skills with the ability to supervise and motivate a team - Knowledge of kitchen operations and food preparation techniques - Familiarity with food safety regulations and best practices - Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail - Excellent communication skills to effectively collaborate with team members - Strong organizational skills to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines - Flexibility to work various shifts including evenings, weekends, and holidays Note: All positions at our company are paid, including internship positions.
