Demand Planning Data Admin Assistant

dnata Catering UK is the leading provider of inflight services to the world’s airline customers. We offer a comprehensive range of Inflight Catering, Onboard Retail and Logistics services across all of the UK’s major and regional airports.
The role can be based in either Manchester or London Heathrow.
**What’s the purpose of role**:
The Stock Demand and Planning Data Admin Assistant supports the Central Stock team in a pivotal role that ensures all product data held within the Warehouse Management operating system for our Bonded Warehouses across the network is both accurate and upto date. The role is required to effectively liaise with all internal stakeholders to communicate updates and queries on all product data.
**Who you'll deal with**:
Internal: General Managers, Operational Unit Managers, Administrators, Support Functions, Data admin, Finance
External: Bond, Vendors, Airline Customers, HMRC
**What you’ll be doing**:
- Responsible for creating, updating and maintaining of stock codes on dnata Catering’s Warehouse Management system (WMS) to enable accurate order processing, stock uplifts and supplier invoice payment
- Understanding of on-line Central Stock information structure
- Maintaining data administration information within Central Stock structure
- Liaising with Central Stock team, bonded store colleagues and airlines regarding WMS updates/queries/issues which may affect them
- Assisting in completion of monthly WMS data checks to ensure accuracy
- Deputising for the Data Administration Manager when absent
- Accountable for inputting Load Flight schedule in to WMS
Inputting all applicable Product data into the Retail back office systems, maintaining accuracy throughout trading periods
- Supporting the team and the business in continuous improvement projects

**What you’ll have**:
- Ability to convert data into an action plan
- Experience in Stock management covering a number of SKU’s
- Strong IT skills; experience of Microsoft Access, Excel, Office, Word
- Experience of working within a fast-moving work environment
- Organisational skills including attention to detail and accuracy are high
- Possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, both verbally and written, with experience of professionally liaising with colleagues, managers and external customers on the telephone daily
- Ability to provide Analytical and Statistical data reports High numerical skills with the ability to solve problems and work within strict deadlines
- Working knowledge or development capability of WMS and SAP systems
- Asks questions & challenges ‘why’ to create an atmosphere of continuous improvement communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively at all levels of personnel across multiple cultures
