FINANCIAL PLANNING & ANALYSIS ANALYST, EDINBURGH

Main accountabilities include:

- Preparation of month end accounts and related variance analysis
- Review and consolidation of weekly profit 'flashes’ - leading regular calls with Senior Management & VPs
- Preparation of annual budgets and forecasts
- Preparation of investment papers & pricing proposals
- Preparation and review of reporting on revenue collection and labour cost controls
- Monthly review and analysis of hub performance
- Analysis and reporting of labour and equipment costs and identification of opportunities and cost efficiencies within these cost lines
- Partner with key stakeholders to ensure performance meets set targets and forecasts
- Capital expenditure reporting
- Project support - assisting as required on new business opportunities & projects

Qualifications and experience required:

- Newly or Part Qualified Chartered Accountant
- Strong analytical skills
- Strong communication skills and the ability to build relationships at all levels
- Ability to explain financial concepts and communicate financial information to operational colleagues
- Ability to work in a fast paced, demanding environment
- Organised, able to work to tight deadlines and able to prioritise multiple simultaneous workloads
