Bakery Porter

**JOB BRIEF**

Ridiculously Rich by Alana are looking for a Bakery Porter to join their team in their bakery and manufacturing site in Aberystwyth. Your responsibility will be assisting the bakery team in ensuring the space remains clean and tidy and the bakers have all the clean equipment they need to fulfil their tasks. This role will require someone proactive with excellent communication skills.

**MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES**

**BAKERY PORTER**
- Cleaning a bakery environment around a busy working team
- Washing up and keeping floors and surfaces clean, general cleaning responsibilities
- Compliance with Health & Safety and hygiene guidelines
- Ad hoc responsibilities within a bakery environment

**KEY SKILLS REQUIRED**
- Previous porter or cleaning experience is not essential but may be preferred
- The role is physical with long periods spent standing and cleaning therefore a general level of fitness is beneficial
- Ability to work well individually, take initiative and contribute to a team
- Hard working and ability to work under pressure
- Passion and enthusiasm, positive attitude and motivated

The Porter will be required to work from the bakery premises in Aberystwyth.

The role will be Monday to Friday, 1pm to 6pm.

The role is paid at National Living Wage.
