We are 4th generation dairy farm who in 2001 diversified into making small batch ice cream right here on the farm using the milk from our herd. In 2008 we open our visitor centre and since then the farm has exploded into a multifaceted business sprawling over 100 acres. Our businesses include
- Farm based visitor attraction - with farm animals, indoor and outdoor play, seasonal events and activities. More than 40,000 visitors a year.
- Ice Cream - Made right here on the farm in small batches we supply over 100 local companies with our handmade ice cream.
- Retail - offering a range of high-quality merchandise, gifts, homeware, toys, food and drinks.
- Scare Kingdom Scream Park - A growing set of scare attractions based here on the farm welcoming over 10,000 people during October.

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an engaging Guest Engagement Presenter.

We are looking for an enthusiastic Presenter to lead talks and presentations around our farm park while creating incredible lifelong memories for tens of thousands of visitors. One moment you could be leading a talk in our cow barn, next you could be bouncing around on our tractor trailer ride telling guests about our 4 generations of history.

**Personal Duties and Responsibilities**:

- Deliver prepared speeches in and around our animal pens, using microphones and props as well as animal feed and behaviour techniques. (Training given)
- Takes part in basic animal husbandry (feeding, cleaning, and grooming)
- Engages organically with guests
- Assistant with guest services teams on tickets, retail and greeting roles when required
- Work independently to ensure the activities timetable is kept to
- Prepare, clean and safety check our trailer ride (full training and check list given)
- Take part in small animal handing sessions (rabbits, guinea pigs, chicks and ducklings)
- Deliver rough structured tours including but not limited to birthday parties, school tours, private and public tours.
- Ensure Mrs Dowsons brand story is portrayed in every part of the role
- Use and manage AV equipment at various locations, taking responsibility and ownership of such.

This role is anticipated as being required every day we are open to the public; this means the role during term time will only be weekends but during school holidays could be every day and will be a 0 hour contract PAYE.

**Salary**: £7.00-£12.00 per hour
