We have an exciting opportunity for a Quality Auditor to join our plant based in Knottingley.

48 Hours per week, 12 hour shifts between 06.00 -18.00 / 18.00 - 06.00 rotating. Monday to Thursday.

Monthly attendance bonus for full attendance, £206.25 per calendar month.

The Quality Auditor is responsible for ensuring the correct quality standards are maintained in accordance with the quality plan. That goods delivered are to the customers specification and within agreed quality parameters. Ensuring that the production lines are running to optimum efficiency and quality level.

**Company Description**

Stoelzle Flaconnage is deemed Stoelzle’s centre of excellence concerning development, production and decoration of Premium Spirits Bottles, with the capability to produce glass containers from 5cl up to 4.5l in extra white flint glass or feeder colouration. Due to the utmost flexibility, the site is able to also manufacture small batches for limited editions of luxury brands.

**Responsibilities**
- Upon the start of a shift and following a job change it is the responsibility of the Auditor to review the quality manual (this includes quality plan, customer requirements, job history, AQL levels, packing specification, panoply document and any special requirements) and ensure all correct gauges, panoply samples, packaging materials are present plus the pallet ticket information is cross referenced to ensure it is correct.
- The Auditor should check containers on the lehr and in the pack (in accordance with procedures & AQL) identifying as soon as possible any features outside of the agreed specification. Any concerns should be relayed to the shift Foreman and machine operator for immediate improvement. This should be recorded and signed off.
- Gauging check and measurable checks to be carried out in accordance with the quality plan schedule.
- Any additional checks relating to a specific container will be identified in the quality manual. These checks have to be completed and recorded at the required frequency as stated in the quality manual.
- Auditor lab duties including annealing, tape tests etc, need to be carried out in accordance with the quality plan schedule.
- After each job change the Auditor should remove any quality manual relating to the finished container and replace it with the quality manual relating to the new job. A full line clearance and cleaning must also take place including the removal of any panoply samples or general bottles from the job going off.
- The Auditor must ensure they maintain the supply of packaging to their line.
- It is the responsibility of the Auditor to ensure the secondary process operatives have checked the standard bottles and understood the quality requirements of the product.
- It is the Auditor responsibility for ensuring Health and Safety and hygiene standards on their line. Ensuring a safe working environment is maintained.
- You are expected to work as part of the Audit team to ensure all required duties and inspection regimes are complete, as per specification and procedures, and to ensure all products meet the required quality level.
- Undertaking other duties as requested by the Head of Quality and Decoration manager/foreman.

**Skills & Qualifications Required**
- Ability to identify all decoration defects
- High level of attention to detail.
- High level communication skills both verbally and written.
- Ability to motivate personnel.
- Ability to work as part of a structured team and as an individual.
- Basic IT skills.
- Good concentration levels.
