Trainee Land

Job Introduction
Due to continued success, we are currently looking for a Trainee Land & Utilities Surveyor to come an join our team at Midland Survey Ltd This is a field-based role so you will be covering the South West area, but your nearest local office is likely to be our Southam facility. We are offering a competitive basic salary depending on skills and experience.

Main Responsibilities
- Carrying out Utility mapping / PAS128 surveys across a variety of industries and locations
- Identifying utility pipes and cables for verification, validation, and excavation
- Gathering data to produce mapping information of underground and overhead distribution and supply services
- Liaise with clients on site to determine survey requirements / best approach
- Clearance surveys for intrusive excavation works
- Educated to GCSE level or equivalent
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills

- Full UK Manual Driving Licence
- Well organised and works well under pressure
- It would be beneficial if you were IT literate and had good administrative skills
- Flexible working as determined by the requirements of the company. Weekend working may be required
