Competitive Initial salary from £27,000 per annum dependant on experience, with potential to increase based on performance, Including Pension Scheme Enrolment.

**Responsibilities**:

- Operate SCM Galaxy T3 CNC beam saw and cut materials accurately to the instructions on the woc
- Select the correct type of blade to suit the material
- Send blades out weekly for re-grinding.
- Maintain and keep the beam saw clean and in good working order
- Follow the process, identify material and label accurately to ensure traceability
- Label off cuts and accurately update Excel stock sheet on laptop
- Recycle off cut materials
- Experience with operating a table saw, x cut and hand tools is desirable
- Cutting different types of plastic, wood and aluminium
- Working effectively with warehouse/goods in to prioritise workload
- Training will be given on operating all machines and identifying materials

Knowledge, Skills, Experience:

- Excellent written and verbal communication
- Excellent problem-solving skills
- Work well in a team and on own initiative
- Using measuring equipment to check sheet dimensions
- Effectively manage your workload each day
- Strong decision making and time management skills are essential
- Good attention to detail
- Health & Safety awareness
- FLT licence
- Experience working in a production / manufacturing environment
- Experience in cutting large volumes of materials and nesting to maximize sheet yields
- Experience of working with plastic, preferred but not essential

Hours: 08:00 - 17.00 - Monday to Friday, 42.5 hours per week

Pay: £27,000.00-£31,000.00 per year
